Volunteering

Parents are welcome and encouraged to volunteer. Prior to volunteering, all persons over the age of 16 must complete a full background check and participate in our Child Abuse Prevention Training offered in an online course through Ministry Safe.

All volunteers are required to check in at the front desk and wear a volunteer badge throughout the duration of their on-campus visit.

Faith-Based Environment

Pursuit Christian Schools is a faith-based learning environment that values the holistic development of the individual. Classrooms are staffed with state certificated teachers who are passionate about Christian education. The goal for our students is that they would become deeply formed in mind, body, and spirit, being well-prepared to engage with the world around them. Our classrooms are intentionally designed to encourage both traditional and non-traditional learners and create an environment where children are encouraged to discover, develop, and deploy their God Given gifts. Parents can expect weekly chapels, Bible classes, and worldview training to happen as a regular part of their educational journey.

Behavior Guidance

We take a positive approach in behavior management and guidance through communicated expectations, conversation, boundaries, modeling, mutual respect, and love. We guide, redirect, and offer praise and positive reinforcement. We take the time to get to know our students and their families to learn what they respond best to.We seek to provide the tools to help them be successful in making healthy and safe choices for themselves and with those around them. Open communication with families is essential for success in positive behaviors.

Health & Safety

The safety of our children and staff is our biggest priority. As such we have implemented the following:

  • All Pursuit Christian Schools are closed campuses. Doors remain locked throughout our school day and all visitors are required to check in through the front desk.
  • All staff and volunteers are screened and trained using a National background check system and the Ministry Safe Abuse Prevention Training curriculum.
  • Classrooms are equipped with live and recorded video feed cameras.
